Well for starters, my dad and step mom got us a deep fryer for Christmas. I was excited, but I don't think Parker was prepared for the joy this kitchen appliance would bring into our lives. He soon discovered the pleasure of homemade french fries and no joke we've probably had them at least once a week since we discovered them. One Sunday Parker convinced me to have fries with our Crockpot roast instead of mashed potatoes. That's when I knew it was serious. We had created a monster. Also, I decided to get banana peppers to have at home and they make for a heavenly burger. So now that we have the means for having delicious fries and burgers, we seriously have that meal all the time.

On February 14th we hit our six month mark. woo hoo. We both agreed it feels like a lot longer. I still don't know how I feel about that... February 14th also happens to be the same date of a lovey dovey holiday or something. Parker hates that holiday. A lot. So, lucky for me, it will always be special to us for a different reason than the rest of the world recognizes. We went out to dinner to celebrate the Saturday before (texas raodhouse yum yum) because I have class Monday nights and, convinced it would just be another day because of the above mentioned hate for V-day, i was pleasantly surprised when I came home to this.
He is so good to me. Happen Valen... I mean 6 month anniversary to us!
