marrieds!

So we're married now :) I can't believe it has only been a month (well technically a month and two days).
We were married August 14th in the Salt Lake Temple. The day was so great. Its funny how I stressed all summer about it and then I blinked and it was over.
I haven't got the pictures from my photographer yet, but here are a few Brittany took and also some of our groomals :)

We went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for our honeymoon. Our hotel/condo thing was right on the beach. We spent our time relaxing on the beach, playing on floats in the water, and one day we went up to Sunset beach, which is the beach Parker's family always goes to. I can't tell you how good it felt not to have to stress about anything or anyone and just be married and spend time together.

Parker had his birthday while we were there. While we were out that day I found these glasses that were surprisingly appropriate!

After Myrtle we spent a few days back at Parker's family home in North Carolina. We had an open house where we got to see more of his family and friends. On Sunday we went and took a nice drive up to some mountains and I got to see what North Carolina was like. I was really excited about seeing my first tobacco field and apparently park was too haha.
And, as with most good things, it was all over way too fast. Sooner than wanted we were back in Provo getting settled into our apartment and starting school. Parker is in his last semester woo hoo for him and is finally getting (I think) back into his 'school mode'. I'm in my first cohort in the elementary education program and am feeling, well, overwhelmed haha. In a few weeks I will be going into a classroom up in Wasatch Elementary (all the way up provo canyon in stinkin Heber) everyday instead of going to classes on campus. I'm excited, but also really nervous. I have so much work to do in my classes to prepare. At least I don't really have to worry about not having anything to do.

Anyways, married life is great. I think we are both learning a lot. If I had to say three things I've learned since getting married they would be:
First, living with a boy is so much simpler than living with girls.
Second, boys and girls think completely different. I always knew this, but am just starting to really understand the magnitude of this difference.
and Third, Yes, one person can have that much gas.
Also I texted Parker and asked him what his three things were and he gave me this:
"Ideas must be discussed longer and time is a more precious need. I will think of the third one soon. "
aw I think he actually thought about it :)
